Our Mission
At Ironhorse VetCare, it is our mission to provide more than expert veterinary treatment, our mission is to use all those skills and combine those with hospitality (from which the word ‘hospital’ came!), compassion and integrity to deliver medical care in a healing and welcoming environment.
As a 24/7 emergency and specialty center, we are always available to help your pet and to facilitate medical understanding of their condition. We pride ourselves with being independent members of your community, lacking distant corporate culture and fiscal performance mandates. We practice within our own top-of-the-industry facilities, use modern diagnostics, and provide an array of treatment modalities, to ensure your pets are provided with ethical, sensible and superior medical care and supervision.
It is simply our goal to provide a hospital to helps you feel that you’ve come to the right place!
Our Practice
Our practice includes surgical and internal medicine specialists as well as behavioral specialists. Specialists are available 24/7 to work in collaboration with our emergency team. All of our services are available for appointments Monday through Friday.
Support specialists in radiology, dental, and emergency and critical care are always available as well.
We are one of the East Bay’s leaders in innovative surgical and medical treatment techniques that include: minimally invasive surgery, stenting procedures for the respiratory and urinary system and total joint replacement. Additionally, our facility serves as a clinical development center for the application of novel orthopedic implants.
Our focus is on family-centered care and we offer a range of treatment options to ensure every pet receives the perfect level of care. By working in collaboration with your regular Veterinarian we can streamline your animal’s ongoing medical care.

Directions:
From Stockton and Livermore:
Take I-580 West to the San Ramon Rd./Foothill Rd. exit. Follow the San Ramon Rd. exit to the right. Once on San Ramon Rd. go through the first light (Dublin Blvd.) and continue to Amador Valley Blvd. (second light). Turn right on Amador Valley Blvd. Ironhorse Vetcare is about 1/4 mile on the right (one block past Regional St.).
From Hayward:
Take I-580 East to the San Ramon Rd./Foothill Rd. exit. Follow the San Ramon Rd. exit to the left. Once on San Ramon Rd., go through the first light (Dublin Blvd.) and continue on to Amador Valley Blvd. (second light). Turn right on Amador Valley Blvd. Ironhorse Vetcare is about 1/4 mile on the right (one block past Regional St.).
From San Jose and Fremont:
Take I-680 North to I-580 West. Take I-580 West to the San Ramon Rd./Foothill Rd. exit. Follow the San Ramon Rd. exit to the right. Once on San Ramon Rd., go through the first light (Dublin Blvd.) and continue on to Amador Valley Blvd. (second light). Turn right on Amador Valley Blvd. Ironhorse Vetcare is about 1/4 mile on the right (one block past Regional St.).
From Concord and Walnut Creek:
Take I-680 South to Alcosta Blvd Exit. Turn Left on San Ramon Valley Blvd and continue (across Alcosta Blvd) for approximate ½ a mile (approx 5 lights). Turn Left at the light for Amador Valley Blvd, proceed through the first light ( Regional Street) and turn right into the second parking lot entrance after you have passed Regional Street.
From Brentwood, Oakley or Antioch:
Take Vasco Rd. to I-580 West. Then follow the directions for Livermore.
